Job summary

Roblox is hiring a Software Engineer on Economy to build frontend experiences used by hundreds of millions across web and mobile. You will own features end-to-end, partner with product, design, ML and data science, and help creators monetize and grow their reach.

You have 1–3 years of frontend experience, strong JS/TS and React skills, and a passion for user-centered design. This is an onsite role based in San Mateo, CA with competitive base pay and equity.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience building production web or mobile frontends.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Strong intuition for user experience and attention to detail.
• Experience with consumer-facing products.
• Curiosity and comfort with ambiguity; asks good questions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Bonus: experience with e-commerce, marketplaces, monetization, or personalization.
