Fortinet, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a frontend engineer to help build the management console for our enterprise AI security gateway.

You will implement data-dense interfaces, connect pages to a Go backend through typed contract-generated API clients, and collaborate with UX and backend engineers to enforce design system consistency and robust validation.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; base salary range is $123,000-$151,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Frontend experience from an internship, co-op, coursework, or personal projects.
• Solid JavaScript (ES2022+) and working knowledge of TypeScript.
• React fundamentals: components, hooks, state, controlled forms.
• Comfortable with HTML/CSS layout, HTTP/REST and JSON, and Git.
• Attention to detail in validation, loading, empty, and error states.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean UI layouts with design system consistency and safe AI-assisted iteration workflows.
• Connect pages to our Go backend through typed, contract-generated API clients.
• Deliver data-dense interfaces, including filterable tables, multi-step forms, and analytics dashboards.
• Write component tests for every feature you ship, covering error and edge-case states.
• Collaborate with UX and backend engineers on API shapes and UI quality.
