Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a frontend engineer to build customer-facing web interfaces for its subscription services. You will create reusable components, work with design and backend teams, and optimize performance across multiple locales.

You will champion accessibility and internationalization, ensuring experiences work for customers in 150+ countries and 35+ languages, and contribute to testing and CI improvements across the team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with React, Vue, or equivalent.
• Experience writing maintainable CSS at scale with preprocessors or modern tooling.
• Knowledge of the modern frontend toolchain (Node.js, package management).
• Experience writing tests with Vitest, Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship customer-facing web interfaces for Apple’s subscription services using HTML, CSS, and modern frontend tech.
• Develop reusable UI components and shared frontend libraries that scale across products, surfaces, and locales.
• Partner with design, product, and backend engineers to turn concepts into production experiences and shape technical direction.
• Optimize performance across load time, rendering, and runtime behavior and measure the impact of changes.
• Champion accessibility and internationalization across 150+ countries and 35+ languages.
• Write and maintain automated tests at unit, integration, and end-to-end levels and strengthen CI practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to raise the team’s quality bar.
• Integrate AI and generative AI features into consumer-facing interfaces with clear user experiences.
