Job summary

Evlo AI is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to own the architecture, development, and scaling of high-performance web interfaces used by millions. Expect to work with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and a modern component-driven approach to deliver accessible, fast UIs.

You will collaborate across teams to optimize performance, implement robust state management, and mentor peers while contributing to GraphQL/REST API contracts and comprehensive testing.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 and React ecosystems.
• Solid experience with Redux Toolkit and Zustand for state management.
• Understanding of web performance optimization, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Bonus: React Native, WebSockets, or backend Node.js services.

Responsibilities

The engineering team works in a fast-paced environment where UI responsiveness, accessibility, and modern component-driven development standards are critical to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using modern TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Design and implement scalable state management solutions and reusable component libraries for cross-functional product teams
• Collaborate with backend engineers and product designers to define GraphQL and REST API contracts
• Optimize client-side performance, bundle sizes, and Core Web Vitals across all web applications
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and mentor junior engineers on frontend best practices

What We Are Looking For

• 3-6 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on modern frontend development
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern React ecosystems
• Solid experience with state management libraries (Redux Toolkit, Zustand) and CSS preprocessors or Tailwind CSS
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques, SEO best practices, and cross-browser compatibility
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
