Job summary

Trucker Path, Inc. is seeking a versatile frontend/backend developer with strong React and Vue experience to join our team in Ellicott City, MD. The role covers modern frontend technologies, backend API design, and collaboration in an AI-assisted development environment.

You will work across React and Vue ecosystems, implement RESTful or GraphQL interfaces, and ensure clean, maintainable code with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Proficient in React with 2+ years of hands-on project development; experience with React Hooks and state management (Redux / Zustand / MobX)
• Strong foundation in JavaScript and TypeScript; solid HTML5/CSS3 and responsive layout skills
• Knowledge of Vue 2/3 and ecosystem (Vuex/Pinia, Vue Router); capable of taking over or migrating Vue projects
• Backend capability in Node.js (Express/NestJS) or another language (Java/Go/Python); design RESTful or GraphQL interfaces; basic DB operations (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB)
• Strong English reading/writing; able to read docs, write code comments and Git messages; participate in meetings
• Experience using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Tongyi Lingma) in real development and evaluating tool strengths/weaknesses

Mandatory Requirements (Must-Have)

• Proficient in React with over 2 years of hands-on project development experience; well-versed in React Hooks, state management (one of Redux / Zustand / MobX), frontend routing and mainstream peripheral libraries in the React ecosystem.
• Solid foundational knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, familiar with HTML5, CSS3 and modern responsive layout implementation.
• Knowledgeable about Vue 2 / Vue 3 and its ecosystem (Vuex / Pinia, Vue Router), capable of rapidly taking over or migrating Vue-based projects.
• Backend development capability: proficient in Node.js (Express / NestJS or equivalent frameworks) or at least one other backend programming language (Java / Go / Python); able to independently design RESTful API or GraphQL interfaces, and perform basic operations on mainstream databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB).
• Strong English reading and writing skills (able to smoothly read technical documentation, write English code comments, Git commit messages and technical emails); competent oral English for participating in English meetings and conducting basic technical discussions.
• Practical experience in AI-augmented programming: extensively leveraged AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Tongyi Lingma in real-world development work, with the ability to objectively evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of such tools.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points, Not Mandatory)

• Mobile development experience (React Native / Flutter / WeChat Mini Programs / mobile H5 adaptation and performance optimization).
• Experience in overseas projects or cross-border team collaboration; familiar with internationalization (i18n), multi-timezone adaptation, multilingual layout and related scenarios.
• Familiar with deployment workflows based on Docker / Kubernetes or cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
