Job summary

Heitmeyer Consulting is seeking a Junior Software Developer / Front-End Developer to support enterprise applications, emphasizing front-end work with Angular and .NET, while collaborating across the full stack.

The role targets developers with 3–5 years of professional experience who are comfortable working with relational databases and APIs, and who can contribute to testing, debugging, and releases. Contract through year-end, with opportunities to grow into broader duties.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a development team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Angular and .NET.
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end components and application functionality.
• Develop and consume APIs and integrate front-end applications with back-end services.
• Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Work with relational databases, including SQL Server and/or DB2.
• Use DB2 to write and execute queries to retrieve, validate, and troubleshoot data.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in testing, debugging, code reviews, and application releases.
• Follow established development standards, processes, and best practices.
• Assist with both front-end and back-end development activities as needed.
