Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate need for a Front End Developer for a 12+ month contract located onsite in the United States. The role pays $50–$60 per hour and includes health, dental, and vision insurance, plus a 401(k) plan and paid sick leave depending on location.

• Develop clean, maintainable frontend code following coding standards.
• Write and maintain Jest and/or Karma unit tests to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize frontend performance and UX.
• Collaborate with backend, design, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver features.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain source control with Git.

Key Responsibilities

• Note: Candidates must be willing to work onsite from Day 1
• Build reusable, scalable UI components using Material, Bootstrap, or similar UI component libraries.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and handle data exchange and error scenarios.
• Implement application state management using Redux and/or NgRx and reactive programming with RxJS.
• Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable frontend code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Write and maintain unit tests using Jest and/or Karma to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize frontend applications for performance, usability, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with backend developers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver application features.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain source code using Git.Support continuous improvements to application architecture, UI components, and overall user experience.
