AAA - American Automobile Association in Costa Mesa, CA seeks a Front-End/UI-UX Developer to translate business requirements into intuitive, responsive user experiences. This role focuses on UI/UX design, front-end development, dashboard and report design, and collaboration with stakeholders to enhance usability and engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise web app design and development with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Translate business requirements into wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and intuitive user experiences.
• Strong UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and user-centered design practices.
• Experience designing Tableau dashboards, reports, and data-driven UIs.
• Experience with REST APIs and front-end integration with enterprise systems.
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar prototyping tools.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Summary

The Front-End/UI-UX Developer is responsible for translating business requirements into intuitive, responsive, and visually compelling user experiences. This role focuses on UI/UX design, front-end development, dashboard and report design, and collaborating with business stakeholders to create user-centric applications that improve usability, accessibility, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and related front-end technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business processes into intuitive user interfaces, wireframes, prototypes, and user experiences.
• Lead UI/UX design efforts, ensuring consistency, accessibility, usability, and adherence to enterprise design standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain reusable UI components, design systems, and front-end frameworks to improve development efficiency and user experience consistency.
• Design, develop, and enhance Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide meaningful business insights and support data-driven decision-making.
• Partner with backend developers, architects, and business teams to ensure seamless integration between user interfaces, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Conduct usability testing, user research, and continuous user experience improvements based on stakeholder feedback and analytics.
• Stay current with emerging UI/UX, visualization, and front-end development trends and recommend innovative approaches to improve user engagement and application adoption.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (5+ years preferred) designing and developing enterprise web applications with strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
• Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and intuitive user experiences.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, user-centered design methodologies, and front-end best practices.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing Tableau dashboards, reports, visualizations, and data-driven user interfaces.
• Experience working with REST APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services and enterprise systems.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating effectively with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing AI-powered user experiences, conversational interfaces, or AI-assisted analytics and reporting solutions.
• Experience modernizing legacy user interfaces and participating in cloud-based application migration initiatives.
• Familiarity with enterprise design systems, component libraries, and data visualization best practices.
• Relevant certifications in UI/UX Design, Tableau, Front-End Development, or related disciplines are highly desirable.
