Job Description

The Frontend Architect will assist in governance and solutions related to selling groceries. This role functions as an on-site architect lead for all frontend experience use cases, collaborating with various team members and roadmaps. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience, or 5-10 years as a Senior Frontend Engineer.

Responsibilities include providing architectural guidance, governance, and design based on industry best practices and KTD Principles; supporting the delivery of the Users’ Experience Architecture; utilizing and promoting User Interface design patterns (MVC, VIPER, etc); driving the use of HTTPS, WS, and MQTT; and applying best practices and design patterns for Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate in the application technical design process.
2. Create and maintain architecture system documentation throughout all SDLC phases.
3. Prioritize tasks effectively, balancing mentoring, learning, and delivering artifacts.
4. Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders during requirements gathering and solution design.
5. Document architectural decisions with supporting illustrations and business value details to aid engineering capacity planning.
6. Deconstruct problems into core components for solutions using critical thinking.
7. Ensure technical feasibility of user interfaces and experience designs.
8. Collaborate with backend solution architects to support application experiences.
9. Stay updated with emerging technologies in operations and activities.
10. Build partnerships across application, business, and infrastructure teams.
