Clyde’s Tower Oaks Lodge in Rockville, MD is seeking a Server/Front Waiter to greet guests, explain menu options, relay orders, and ensure a top-tier dining experience. The role may include occasional bartending shifts for candidates with experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and warmly welcome parties to the restaurant.
• Inform guests of menu options and make recommendations.
• Relay orders to bar and kitchen using the POS system.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond accordingly.
• Establish a friendly, professional rapport with guests.
• Bus tables after meals and reset tables for next course.
• Total and present the bill, process payments, and make change.
• Address guest issues with courtesy and respect.
• Thank guests as they depart and invite return visits.

Pay Range: $1000 - $1500 / week

This is primarily a Server/Front-Waiter position. Candidates with prior bartending experience may also be scheduled for occasional bar shifts based on business. Candidates without bartending experience will be considered for serving only.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A SERVER / FRONT WAITER

• Greet new parties and cordially welcome guests to the restaurant
• Inform guests of delicious menu choices and make suggestions
• Relay orders to the bar and kitchen using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond appropriately
• Establish a friendly, professional rapport with guests
• Bus tables when the meal is completed and prepare the table for the next course
• Total and present the bill, accept payment, cash out the check, and make change
• Problem-solve guest needs with courtesy, dignity, and respect
• Extend closing greetings to guests as they leave, thanking them for their patronage
