Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is seeking a non-clinical assistant to support a physician's practice. Under supervision, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks with independence within established procedures.

Education includes a HS Diploma or GED; an Associate’s degree is preferred. Experience in a medical office is required or substituted with an Associate’s degree.

Qualifications

• 1 year related experience in a medical office setting required.
• Associates degree can be substituted in lieu of experience requirement (Required).
• GED or HS Diploma preferred.

Under the general supervision of the Practice Manager or Front Office Supervisor, performs a variety of non-clinical duties in support of a physician's practice following established methods and procedures involving some independent judgment and latitude in carrying out tasks.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred
• Associate's Degree Preferred

Work Experience

• 1 year related experience, preferably a medical office setting Required or
