Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Monroe, LA is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to lead front desk operations, switchboard, medical records, and managed care. You will ensure smooth patient flow and superior service in a busy outpatient setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years ambulatory front office experience (supervisory preferred), and strong customer service. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; you will work Monday to Friday with some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years ambulatory front office experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, leadership, and organizational skills; computer proficiency required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and evaluate front desk, switchboard, medical records, and managed care staff.
• Oversee patient registration, check-in, scheduling, and customer service standards.
• Ensure confidentiality, HIPAA, and operational policies.
• Support patient flow and resolve patient concerns in coordination with clinic leadership.
• Manage daily administrative operations including mail, supplies, equipment, and reporting.
• Assist with quality improvement audits and performance reporting.

Front Office Supervisor

The Front Office Supervisor leads and manages all front office operations including the front desk, switchboard, medical records, and managed care departments. This role ensures exceptional customer service, efficient patient flow, and compliance with clinic policies while supervising and training front office staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and evaluate front desk, switchboard, medical records, and managed care staff
