Susquehanna International is looking for a Front Office Python Engineer to build trader-facing applications for data analysis, visualization, and decision support in our prediction markets team.

The role combines data engineering, application development, and quantitative tooling to support backtesting, analytics, and real-time trading workflows. You will work with traders, quants, and technologists to turn data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience building Python applications or data systems.
• Strong Python skills with Pandas and NumPy for data processing.
• Experience with backend frameworks (Flask, FastAPI) and APIs.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, SQL/databases, and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop systems used in backtesting and data analysis.
• Build Python-based applications and tools delivering tactical analytics for trading decisions.
• Monitor strategy performance and diagnose issues in production.
• Develop ad-hoc tools and systematic data solutions for trading workflows.
• Improve trading workflows and optimize performance.
• Design and maintain data pipelines and datasets supporting research and trading.
• Iterate on systems based on desk feedback and evolving strategies.
