MarinHealth is seeking a Front Office Coordinator to ensure a welcoming, efficient patient experience at the busy MarinHealth Medical Network front desk. You will handle calls, appointments, registrations, and EHR scanning with EPIC, using Microsoft Office, and bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Answers telephones, triages calls, takes messages, and provides information.
  • Schedules appointments and admissions; prepares patient charts and documents; scans into EHR.
  • Greets and registers patients; verifies information and updates records.
  • Maintains files; coordinates patient movement; assists in updating office systems.
  • Relays messages to staff/doctors; assists with referrals and authorizations as needed.

Solid administrative experience, good customer service and a mature, calm demeanor are essential skills for this position.Job Requirements, Prerequisites and Essential Functions:Pay Range:$22.50 - $27.00 - $31.50Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Answers telephones, triages calls, takes messages, and provides information.Provides support services to patients and medical staff. Schedules appointments and admissions as required.Prepares patient charts and other office documents. Scans and sorts documents into Electronic Health Record.Attends staff meetings.Maintains files.
