Job summary

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach is seeking a Front Office Coordinator for the Center for International Education (CIE). Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary front-line representative for the Center for International Education.

  • Coordinate front office operations and reception area presentation.
  • Monitor office supplies and communicate needs.

The Opportunity

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a highly organizedand student-focused Front Office Coordinator to support the Centerfor International Education (CIE) at the Daytona Beach Campus. Thisposition serves as the primary point of contact for students,faculty, staff, and visitors while supporting international studentservices, study abroad initiatives, and international engagementprograms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary front-line representative for the Centerfor International Education (CIE), providing professional andstudent-centered support to students, faculty, staff, andvisitors.
  • Respond to inquiries in person, by phone, and electronicallywhile identifying appropriate referral pathways and universityresources.
  • Support international student services, study abroadinitiatives, international student engagement, and English languageprogramming operations.
  • Maintain a welcoming, organized, and culturally responsiveoffice environment that promotes positive studentexperiences.
  • Coordinate front office operations, including digital signage,informational displays, office materials, and reception areapresentation.
  • Monitor and maintain office supply inventory and communicateoperational or maintenance needs as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records of office traffic, student inquiries,and service trends to support departmental assessment and reportinginitiatives.
  • Assist with document routing, imaging, records coordination,and information management procedures.
  • Identify recurring student concerns or operational trends andcommunicate observations to leadership to support continuousimprovement efforts.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for departmentalcommunications, special projects, and cross-functionalinitiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of Centeroperations and student success initiatives.

Compensation

The hourly range for this role is up to $ 16.50. The final offerwill be based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, andexperience, as well as applicable state regulations, internalequity, and business needs, and may fall outside of the statedrange.

Qualifications
Required Education and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degreepreferred.
  • 1-3 years of related experience in student support, customerservice, administrative support, or a similar environment.
  • Experience working in a university, multicultural, orstudent-facing environment preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communicationskills with the ability to interact professionally with diversepopulations.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to managemultiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality,and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard officetechnologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuraterecords and service-related data.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborationwithin a team environment.
  • Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the unique needsof international students and diverse communities.
