Job summary

Costa Vida is hiring Front of House Team Members in a high-volume setting. The role includes cashiering, lobby, line cook, expeditor, salad, drive-through, and other non-management tasks as assigned.

You will work under supervision to ensure quick, accurate service and uphold Costa Vida standards. Qualifications include a Food Handler permit and proven experience in a busy kitchen or bulk environment, with strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Food Handler permit is required.
• Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a bulk or high-volume kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Ability to weigh and measure food accurately.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Serve with a smile and maintain eye contact.
• Prepare food safely and per Costa Vida standards.
• Follow menu builds and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitize workstation.
• Possibly input data into a food safety checklist system.
• Learn and perform multiple roles across front-of-house per shift.
• Assist with catering orders and food deliveries.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
