Job summary

The Breakers Palm Beach is seeking a Food Server Assistant who is energetic, fast-paced, and customer-service oriented. You will work closely with servers, keep the dining area immaculate, and ensure guests have a timely, pleasant experience while supporting front and back-of-house operations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt in a busy, upscale resort setting. Training and growth opportunities are available as part of a renowned hospitality team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a food server assistant or similar is preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Work with servers to ensure guest needs are met in a timely manner
• Ensure impeccable cleanliness of the restaurant and adhere to food safety standards
• Clear tables and reset them immediately after guests have departed
• Set up the front of the house and back of the house for service (expo line and dish area)
• Assist servers during meal periods, pour water, clear dishes, reset tables, run food, and maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant
• Provide excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Perform other related duties as assigned
