Job summary

Cahuilla Casino Hotel in Anza, CA is seeking Support Staff to assist FOH operations. The role involves maintaining tables, serving water, greeting guests, and supporting the F&B team with cleanliness, condiments, and occasional service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and commitment to use proper sanitation and food handling procedures as outlined in casino and department handbook, HACCP and OSHA.
• Must be able to complete the 90-day introductory period in consecutive days as scheduled.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Clean tables, taking plates, utensils, etc. to the kitchen to be washed.
• Help remove plates while guests are seated at the table.
• Maintain sanitization standards.
• Check under the table and surrounding floor area and sweep up crumbs or litter.
• Set and re-set tables.
• Fill and clean condiments as needed.
• Assist fellow team members with guest services. Serve water and refill glasses when needed.
• Assist staff with trash removal and cleaning spills.
• Greet guests in the absence of the hostess.
• Make suggestions about menu selections when asked.
• Occasional food and beverage service.
• Maintain a neat, organized workstation environment.
• Greeting guests as they approach.
• Provide guests with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods.
• Assigning guests to tables they request, while maintaining a consistent table rotation.
• Must maintain knowledge of the menus.
• Answer phone calls with proper salutations and etiquette.
• Communicating all guests’ complaints to F&B Leadership, resolved or not.
• All other duties assigned by F&B Management.
