Job summary

American Dream Tenants seeks a Shift Leader to support the Manager in Charge in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. This front-of-house role requires flexibility to assist in all areas and maintain service standards.

You will run shifts without supervision, address customer concerns, and lead by example with a strong CORE 4 guest service approach. The position emphasizes integrity, teamwork, andAttention to food safety during busy dining periods.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older
• Knowledge of restaurant a plus
• Excellent communication and verbal skills
• Work and lead well in a fast-paced and high-energy environment
• Knowledge of and adherence to food safety standards

• Basic computer and iPad competency
• Able to stand for prolonged periods (entire shift), walk, bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects, as needed

Responsibilities

• Run shifts without any supervision
• Supports the senior leadership team by completing any delegated tasks
• Takes action to solve customer issues or complaints as they arise
• Execute proper security and cash handling procedures with team
• Leads by example, using our CORE 4 model to serve guests: make eye contact, share a smile, speak enthusiastically and make a connection
• Communicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to the Senior Leadership Team
• Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all reporting employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback
• Serves as subject matter expert for all tasks for the specific area the Shift Supervisor oversees
• All other duties as assigned
