Job summary

Corner Burger seeks an entry-level Cashier & Order Management at corporate office in Forest, VA 24551. The role involves accurate order entry via Square POS, handling cash and card payments, and coordinating with the kitchen for accurate delivery of orders.

You will also assist with takeout and third-party deliveries, maintain clean dining and service areas, and stock supplies while following food-safety guidelines. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, fast-casual, cashier, retail, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate a POS system.
• Basic cash-handling and math skills.
• Ability to follow recipes and preparation instructions for shakes and desserts.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into the Square POS system accurately.
• Process cash, credit card, and other approved forms of payment.
• Maintain accuracy when handling cash and completing transactions.
• Ensure orders are entered correctly, including modifications and special requests.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure orders are delivered accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with takeout and third-party delivery orders as assigned.
• Maintain a clean dining room and service areas.
• Restock cups, lids, straws, napkins, condiments, utensils, ice, and other supplies.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, counters, and guest areas.
• Restock Front of House supplies before leaving a shift.
