Job summary

Elijahhouseliving is seeking a front-end/warehouse associate to greet members, assist with loading orders, and maintain a clean, organized front-end area. You will help with self-checkouts, supervise packing and loading, and support department setup and closing duties.

The role emphasizes high-quality customer service, safe handling of merchandise, and accurate signage. Availability is required to meet business needs, with proof of work authorization in the United States expected upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and provide high level service.
• Assist cashier by counting items left in cart and preparing them for scanning.
• Pack orders into boxes and load to carts, ensuring packaging integrity.
• Help with self-checkouts by scanning items and entering item numbers as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of front-end and register areas; clean spills and hazards.
• Set up and close the department; restock, file paperwork and reset displays.
• Move pallets from receiving to shelves or sales floor; stock product as needed.
• Clear debris, ensure correct signage and label unmarked products with item numbers.
• Operate vehicles or equipment as necessary to move merchandise.
