Job summary

Crothall Laundry Services in Columbia, SC, is seeking a team member to join the front line production group on our high-capacity commercial laundry plant. The role includes supporting operations across dryer, wash, stain wash, sewing, folding, ironing, packing and distribution to meet customer needs.

You will help maintain linen flow through tunnel and machines, load pockets, monitor load sizes, and follow safety and production standards. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience on a production line in a laundry environment.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and follow directions.
• Willingness to perform varied tasks across the production process.

Responsibilities

• Maintains flow of linen into the tunnel, washers, dryers, etc.
• Pulls bags and/or processes other laundry activities in the designated order.
• Loads linen into empty pockets in tunnel; continues to do so as pockets transfer.
• Keeps pockets loaded correctly with proper load size; prevents overload.
• Follows directions and safety precautions.
• Maintains the production standards as determined per hour.
• Notifies supervisor if frequent technical problems are impacting the ability to meet production standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
