Job summary

Canada’s Wonderland in Austell, GA, is hiring for a seasonal security team member to patrol the front gate, operate metal detectors, and monitor guests and employees. You will write clear incident reports, enforce park rules, and ensure a safe environment while earning up to $14.00 per hour with daily pay and employee perks.

Ideal candidates are 18+, physically capable of lifting and long shifts, with strong communication and a calm demeanor under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced environment similar to theme parks.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Ability to enforce park policies and procedures.
• Remain calm and effective in emergencies.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and balance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Opportunity to earn security officer certification with pay upgrade.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with directions and information.
• Screen entrants at the gate using metal detectors.
• Check bags for prohibited items and maintain security checks.
• Write detailed incident reports and security logs.
• Protect employees, guests and park property.
• Escort guests and team members as needed for safety.
