Job summary

CSS Inc. is seeking a Web & UI/UX Developer in the USA for a full-time role. You will design, develop, and analyze complex software programs for web-based systems and create engaging experiences for users.

You will collaborate with end users to understand goals, lead usability testing, and develop wireframes and screen flows. A strong background in web development, UCD patterns, and accessibility is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
4-7 years of relevant professional experience.
Documented experience in all phases of the web application development life cycle.
Knowledge of user centered design (UCD) patterns and best practices, 508 compliance and accessibility.
Excellent understanding of customer needs and business strategy.
Prior experience with on-site government agency support preferred.
Ability to pass a National Agency Check (NACI) and maintain it throughout employment.

Responsibilities

Provide Web design and front-end software development support.
Design, develop, and analyze highly complex software programs for computer-based systems.
Create compelling and satisfying experiences for product users.
Consult with software application end users, or proxies, to understand their goals and objectives.
Perform and may lead usability testing; develop usage scenarios and personas, create wireframes, sitemaps, storyboards, and screen flows.
Write computer code that results in an easy-to-use product.
Participate and may lead software design groups to meet user requirements.
Participates in software architecture working groups as needed, including coverage of strategic topics such as cloud migration and secure coding and development infrastructure
May oversee or mentor junior developers and team members.
