Job summary

SPORTSQUID, Inc. is seeking a front-end developer to join our San Francisco startup building a groundbreaking Beta product for the social sports and gaming space.

You will be treated as a co-founder, help design and implement elegant web interfaces, and lead a small team with support from designers and backend engineers.

This full‑time role offers competitive salary and attractive equity in a fast-paced, fun environment based on Market Street.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years building high-quality web interfaces.
• Proficient with HTML, CSS, JS/jQuery, AJAX and SQL.
• Strong UX sensibilities and design eye.
• Experience with social networks a plus.
• Startup experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable beta product by October with a focus on solid UI.

Front-end developer needed to join an exciting startup team in San Francisco. We are an early stage, partially-funded company with a genuinely ground-breaking and disruptive product targeting a multi-billion dollar worldwide competitive sports/gaming market. We are backed by a Facebook pioneer and are weeks from the Seed funding.

We are looking for a brilliant, fun-loving front developer who we will treat as a co-founder. Your first mission is to help build our fully spec'd scalable Beta product by end of October. The ideal candidate will have the leadership skills to build a solid development team around them. You will have full support and be working with detailed requirements, good graphics & an experienced product team and an excellent back-end wizard.

You must be located in the Bay Area or willing to move here to make this happen.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science (or extremely versatile hacker)
• 5+ year experience in designing and implementing excellent web interfaces
• Expert agility with HTML, CSS, JS or jQuery, AJAX and Database (SQL)
• Strong understanding of UX principles
• Good Photoshop experience and an eye for design is a big plus
• Experience developing applications for social network sites a plus
• Entrepreneurial spirit, can-do attitude & determination to have fun
• Startup experience preferred
