Next Step Systems LTD. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Front-End Web Developer to build a brand new website for a new product line. This contract-to-perm opportunity offers a hybrid setup: onsite three days and remote two days.

Local candidates in or near Chicago are preferred. The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and related technologies, with a track record of delivering from scratch and advising on technology roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining websites.
• Ability to develop a brand new website from scratch.
• Ability to provide recommendations for technology roadmap.
• 3-5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, etc.
• Proficiency with creating and modifying custom theme files and child themes.
• Knowledge of server-side tasks (MX Records, DNS maintenance).

We have an exciting Front-End Web Developer opportunity to join an established company's team developing a brand new website promoting a new product line. This is a contract to perm opportunity. This position is hybrid Onsite 3 days and Remote 2 days. Candidates need to be local in or near Chicago, IL. Ideal candidates must be a self-starter, who can work independently but also work well as a team. This is a high growth opportunity for the right individual.
