Sr Front End Developer

Must hand code in JavaScript from scratch.

The front-end developer will work in a team environment within a Pod, so good communication skills are essential.

Looking for someone with attention to detail, able to take a design comp and translate the finer elements into code.

Required skills:

• Strong hand coding in JavaScript
• AngularJS experience (required)
• ReactJS experience (a big plus)
• CSS, HTML, Vanilla JavaScript
• Experience in an Agile environment
• Experience working with design and backend development teams
• Experience with Jasmine test development and testing independently

Experience with backend Java testing (JUnit) is a plus.

The candidate should enjoy researching new technologies and keeping up to date with industry trends.

Responsibilities include:

• Transforming design compositions into interactive user experiences and prototypes.
• Translating advanced design compositions into semantic markup and responsive webpages or native applications.
• Collaborating with business owners, designers, and developers to implement high-quality user experiences.
• Leading prototyping efforts, including usability and A/B testing.
• Overseeing project operations and coordinating with project managers.
• Working with IT and designers to realize web designs and system behaviors.
• Presenting work to stakeholders and management.
• Maintaining awareness of components and patterns, and collaborating on new or revised components.
• Developing and enhancing client-side and server-side architecture for prototyping.
