The TJX Companies, Inc. in Pawleys Island, SC seeks a front-of-store leader to promote an excellent customer experience and supervise Associates. You will model outstanding customer service, train staff, and coordinate POS coverage while upholding store standards.

You will lead by example, ensuring loyalty programs are promoted and safety standards are followed. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a focus on operational excellence in a busy retail setting.

Formación

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Strong merchandising knowledge and techniques.
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced store environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Team player who can work with peers and supervisors.
• Able to train Associates on front end principles and customer service.

Responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience. Oversees a team of Associates at front of store ensuring prompt, courteous customer service and promotion of loyalty programs. Leads by example by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Role models outstanding customer service.

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front end principles
• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs
• Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
• Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

This position has a starting pay range of USD $13.50 to $14.00 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
