Job summary

Lunds & Byerlys Glen Lake is seeking a vibrant, outgoing Front End Supervisor on a part-time schedule. The role offers a competitive wage of $16.50–$20.50 per hour and requires leadership to manage front-end operations. Shift coverage ranges from 6:00am to 11:00pm across a 7-day operation.

The ideal candidate will greet and assist customers, supervise checkout processes, and mentor team members while upholding high standards of hospitality and service.

Qualifications

• Licensing Required: Food safety certification or ability to obtain and maintain.
• Experience: 2+ years in retail or food service; supervisory experience desired.
• Computer skills: Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the front end.
• Supervise and assist front-end operations including scanning items, entering pricing data, processing payments, and packaging groceries.
• Resolve checkout concerns and ensure smooth customer flow.
• Assist the manager in coaching, training, mentoring, and leading team members to achieve department goals.

Lunds & Byerlys Glen Lake is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing part-time Front End Supervisor to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a part-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $16.50 - 20.50/hr.

We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 6:00am - 11:00pm.

Front End Supervisor Responsibilities

Our Front End Supervisors are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as:

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Supervising and assisting front-end operations including:
  • Scanning items
  • Entering pricing data
  • Processing payment
  • Packaging groceries
  • Resolving any checkout concerns
• Assisting the manager in coaching, training, mentoring, and leading team members to accomplish department and personal goals

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensing Required
