Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. is seeking a Front End Specialist I to assist customers and maintain store appearance, with emphasis on the front end of operations.

This role requires friendly, efficient service and knowledge of current promotions, plus the ability to support donation programs throughout the year. The position involves greeting customers, operating the register, and helping train new front end staff while keeping a clean, well-organized front area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Open scheduling availability
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the register.
• Assist with training new Front End Specialists.
• Be knowledgeable of all promotions and advertisements to answer questions and assist with selling product; support Ollie’s Army and donation programs.
• Maintain a neat and organized front end work area.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the overall store.
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.
