Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Virginia is hiring a Front End Specialist to assist customers, operate the register, and maintain store appearance. You’ll participate in merchandising, pricing, and front-end operations to deliver friendly, efficient service.

Qualifications include at least 6 months of retail experience preferred, the ability to work evenings, weekends & holidays, and a positive, team-focused attitude. The role offers growth, benefits after 90 days, and a strong associate discount.

Internal Job Title: Front End Specialist

Position Overview:

The Front End Specialist assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. The Front End Specialist is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on the front-end of store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front-end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the register, a pprove refunds for other Associates, and a ssist with training new Associates.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales.
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 6 months of prior retail experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• A positive attitude and team player who wants to engage and serve customers.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.

This pay represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. Pay ranges may be different in other locations. Actual associate pay will be based on work location, position, experience, skill level, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Associate will not be compensated below the minimum wage for the specific location where the individual has applied in accordance with city, county, and state requirements.
