Job summary

Ollie’s is seeking a Front End Specialist to assist customers and keep the store looking sharp at the front end. You will handle sales, promotions, and front-end operations with a strong emphasis on service.

Ideal candidates are team players with a positive attitude, able to work evenings and weekends, and willing to engage with customers to boost sales and donations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer entering and approaching the front end.
• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions to answer questions and drive sales.
• Support donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving, pricing, merchandising, and store recovery.
• Maintain store appearance and perform additional duties as needed.

Position Overview:

The Front End Specialist assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. They are responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on the front end of store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis
• A positive attitude and team player who wants to engage and serve customers

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.
