Job summary

Ollie's Bargain Outlet, Inc. is seeking a Front End Specialist to help customers and maintain the store front. You will handle the register, assist shoppers, and support promotions to boost sales while keeping the front end inviting and well merchandised.

Applicants should be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. A positive attitude and team spirit are essential for daily collaboration with colleagues and sharp attention to the store’s appearance.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the front end of the store.
• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Promote current promotions and answer questions to drive sales.
• Support donation programs and store maintenance as needed.
• Assist with receiving, pricing, merchandising, and recovery of the store.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store appearance and take on extra duties as assigned.

Position Overview

The Front End Specialist assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. They are responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on the front end of store operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales.
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis
• A positive attitude and team player who wants to engage and serve customers

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.
