Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Kirksville, MO is hiring a Front End Specialist I to assist customers and help maintain the store front end, with focus on customer service, merchandising, and daily shop operations.

You’ll greet customers, operate the register, support training, stay informed on promotions, keep the front end tidy, handle receiving and pricing, and partner with Team Leaders to meet store goals. Prior retail experience helpful; evenings/weekends required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Open scheduling availability.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and activities and work within strict timeframes and deadlines.

• Must have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with customers and Associates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the overall store.
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

Position Overview:

The Front End Specialist I (FeS I) assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. The FeS I is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on the front end of store operations.
