Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Front End Software Engineer to join the MeshMesh Engineering team in San Francisco. You will build scalable features, ensure code quality, and work with product, UX, and performance engineers to deliver outstanding web experiences.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of front-end engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML5, JSON, and Ajax.
• Experience with ReactJS, Flux, Redux, Relay/GraphQL, React Native, Ember.js, or Node.js.
• Understand at least one OO language (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Ruby, Python).
• Experience in automated testing, including unit and functional testing (e.g. JUnit, Selenium, Mocha, QUnit).
• Agentic Engineer - you build with Claude and similar AI coding tools, using agent loops, tool use, and well-grounded context engineering to ship code fast.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Related technical degree or experience.

You're Our Person If...

• You have 4+ years of proven experience in front-end engineering.
• You have solid knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML5, JSON, and Ajax.
• You have experience with ReactJS, Flux, Redux, Relay/GraphQL, React Native, Ember.js, or Node.js.
• You understand at least one object-oriented language (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Ruby, Python).
• You have experience in automated testing, including unit and functional testing (e.g. JUnit, Selenium, Mocha, QUnit).
• You are an Agentic Engineer - you build with Claude and similar AI coding tools, using agent loops, tool use, and well-grounded context engineering to ship code fast.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills.
• You have a related technical degree or experience.

The typical base salary range for this position is $148,500 - $223,900 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $178,900 - $246,000 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
