Job summary

Fresh Thyme Farmers Market in Wisconsin is seeking a Coordinator team member to support checkout operations at the front lanes. You will help ensure fast, friendly service, assist customers, and safeguard assets while maintaining accurate cash handling and POS procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–3 years in retail, and at least one year in a supervisory capacity. Experience in natural foods is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate to team members with clear direction.
• Ability to mentor team members across hourly roles.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customers receive outstanding service through the checkout lanes.
• Greets customers entering store and responds promptly to customer needs.
• Oversees the accurate and efficient operation of all cash registers.
• Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, gift cards, or automatic debits.
• Maintains clean and orderly checkout areas and ensures proper cash control.
• Ensures completion of POS transactions and proper handling of cash at registers.
• Models exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Reviews Customer Survey and feedback from previous day or week.
• Prepares, stocks store and display merchandise appropriately.
• Price change compliance and food safety adherence.
• Orders and stocks items; maintains department displays.
• Ensures pricing accuracy and signage for promotions.
• Promotes a safe work environment and reliable attendance.
