Proactively responds to customer issues and complaints. Models desired behaviors of front-end partners, ensures front of store remains clean and presentable, and promotes customer service.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Works in conjunction with upper management to train and develop partners, schedule, plan, assign, and direct work.* Assists in training cashiers and courtesy/utility clerks on policies and procedures related to customer service, produce codes, cash handling/tender procedures, use of scanners and bagging protocol.* Ensures Company regulations and standards for freshness, safety, refrigeration, and sanitation are met within front end of store operations.* Provides checkout services, as well as bags and transports customer groceries as needed. Ensures correct checkout totals for customers by properly weighing, keying, and scanning items.
