Job summary

Cosentino's Sun Fresh is seeking a part-time Utility Clerk/Sacker for the Sun Fresh #156 location at 10225 N Oak Trafficway, Kansas City, MO 64155. The role focuses on efficient bagging, helping customers to their vehicles, cart retrieval, and maintaining a clean store environment.

You will follow Cosentino's customer service standards and contribute to a positive shopping experience by assisting with requests, stocking, and maintaining orderly front-end operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a liquor license and or food handlers permit as required by the county in which you are working in. This should be completed within the first 14 days of starting.
• Assist with bagging groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service: greeting customers, asking if any preferences on how their groceries should be sacked, and offering assistance to their vehicle. Know and practice Cosentino's Customer Service Standards or Red-Carpet Service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the sales floor, breakroom, check stands, and restrooms.
• Retrieving carts from the parking lot. Making sure they are clean and operation for customers to use.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Resolve customer inquiries or concerns. If unable to do so with confidence, find a member of store management to help.
• Know and follow Cosentino's rules regarding alcohol and tobacco sales and handling of these items.
• Effectively multitask, managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Prevent loss merchandise by checking the bottom of the shopping carts for cashiers.
• Support your company by completing additional tasks identified by management, assisting other stores or departments as needed and gaining new skills when necessary.
• Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino’s Learning Plan.
