Ladders is seeking a Front-end Engineer 5 SEO - Shopping (Remote-eligible) to join a leader in Finance & Insurance. The role emphasizes expanding search discoverability and front-end quality for a consumer-facing shopping experience.

You will mentor senior engineers, drive AI-enabled workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable features while building shared UI foundations across teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 6+ years of experience with TypeScript, HTML, CSS and modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte.
• 3+ years of experience architecting federated front-end or design systems.

Responsibilities

• Increase the reach of the shopping experience through SEO, AEO, and GEO.
• Design and build optimized front-end code that improves user experience and search ranking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging features for a large customer base.
• Architect and maintain core components and shared libraries for multiple teams.
• Establish standards for cross-platform consistency and accessibility.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in SEO and web performance.

For our client, we are seeking a Front-end Engineer 5 SEO - Shopping (Remote-eligible) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will help expand the reach of a consumer-facing shopping experience by improving search discoverability, front-end quality, and web performance.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging features at scale while shaping shared UI foundations that support multiple teams.

The position also calls for strong technical leadership, including mentoring senior engineers and helping drive AI-enabled workflows across the organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $209,000 – $238,500 annually
