Job summary

Fifth Door is seeking a Front-End Engineer who is passionate about delivering outstanding user experiences for our turn-based games platform. You will join a fast-moving, ambitious team where your work ships from day one and directly impacts players.

You’ll collaborate across design, product, and backend partners, own UI components, ensure accessibility and performance, and help shape our front-end architecture as we grow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a front-end engineer or similar role.
• Expert proficiency with React and Typescript.
• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn mockups and prototypes into code.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Must-Have:

• Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tools (Webpack, Vite, Rollup, etc.).
• Experience integrating with RESTful and realtime APIs.
• Git proficiency and experience working in an agile development environment.
• Proficiency using AI tools in development workflows

Nice-to-Have:

• Interest or experience in animations on the web.
• Some familiarity with back-end technologies is a plus.
• Passion for gaming, creative tools, or AI applications.
