Front End Developer - SASS/AJAX/Apache Tomcat

Contract

The Senior Front-End Developer will be part of a team supporting established projects and creating products from the ground up. The ideal candidate is a team player and is passionate about learning and applying their technical skills and experience to solve real-world problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Talk with users, client their challenges, build innovative solutions
• Keep up with current conventions in the web development community.
• Research the latest technologies, identifying what is strength and what is fad.

Bonus/Nice To Have

• Interest in design and/or user experience
• Familiarity with mockup tools such as Sketch, Balsamiq, InVision, etc.
• Understanding of modern aesthetic of visual style
• Familiarity with graphic manipulation software such as Photoshop, Gimp, etc.
