Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a motivated Frontend Developer who is passionate about building intuitive applications for a Data Lake/Warehouse environment. You will collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to deliver polished web experiences, write maintainable code, and troubleshoot issues.

• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance; clearance not required on day one.
• 5+ years of front-end development with a related Bachelor's degree; or 3 years with a Master's; or 9 years with a HS diploma.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control; comfortable on a Unix command line.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570/8140 compliance (Security+) within 60 days of hire.

• Define and interact with REST-based APIs.
• Troubleshoot user-reported issues and provide support.

Anticipated Salary Range:$111,662.00-$145,000.00. The salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities. • Assist with the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications.
• Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build holistic user experiences.
• Help define and interact with REST based API’s.
• Troubleshoot customer reported issues in applications and providing support.
• Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Clearance Requirement: Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, but not required on day one; U.S. Citizenship required.
• 5+ years of experience with front end software development/engineering and a Bachelors in related field; OR 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control software.
• Comfortable working on a *nix command line.
• Self-motivation; Ability to multi-task and prioritize open issues / tickets accordingly.
• Problem solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certification (i.e. Security+) within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 1-2 days per week at our Columbia, MD office. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed.

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience with a data warehouse is a plus.
