Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Front End Developer to support the United States Space Force by building UI/UX focused front end applications for Space Systems Command projects. This on-site role requires strong coding skills and collaboration within a fast-paced defense program.

Responsibilities include implementing UI components, wireframes, and design systems using HTML, CSS/SCSS, and modern front-end tools, while complying with security and government standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty with 3+ years UI/UX development experience.
• Proven experience in front-end development for government/complex environments preferred.
• Certifications or training related to UI/UX and design systems are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing a portfolio of professional UI/UX design work and hands-on coding.
• Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components.
• Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups.
• Translating requirements into style guides, design systems and attractive interfaces.
• Creating user-centered designs based on business requirements and user feedback.
