Job summary

Epsilon is seeking a Creative Technologist to bridge technical execution and creative vision, automating workflows and building data-driven experiences for global clients. You will collaborate with designers, producers, and engineers to turn ideas into high-performance realities.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of HTML5/CSS3/JS, strong design sensibilities, and a track record in prototyping tools. A CS/Design/DM degree or bootcamp completion is preferred; strong debugging skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and Git.
• Proficiency with prototyping using Cursor, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Canva.
• Strong understanding of visual design, typography, and responsive cross‑platform development.
• Strong debugging and autonomous troubleshooting skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS, Design, Digital Media or coding bootcamp.

Responsibilities

• Master emerging tech: GSAP, AI frameworks, and prompt engineering.
• Prototype and prototype: build next-gen creative tools.
• Automate workflows to scale high-volume, data-driven experiences for global clients.
• Bridge between 100+ designers and engineering partners.

Overview

As a Creative Technologist, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and creative vision, automating workflows and building data-driven digital experiences that connect brands with consumers. Reporting to the Senior Director, Creative Technology, you will collaborate daily with Art Directors, Digital Producers, and Engineers to turn innovative ideas into high-performance reality.

Responsibilities

• Mastery of Emerging Tech: Advance your skills in GSAP, AI frameworks, and prompt engineering to stay at the forefront of the creative technologist field.
• Proprietary Innovation: Prototype Epsilon’s next generation of advanced creative tools, keeping our agency ahead of the digital media revolution.
• Operational Excellence: Automate workflows to increase team capacity and scale high-volume, data-driven experiences for global clients without sacrificing quality.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a vital bridge between 100+ designers and engineering partners, translating technical constraints into creative wins.
• Strategic Influence: Provide direct input into the company’s strategic direction and navigate "uncharted waters" to avoid technical pitfalls.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and version control (Git).
• Proficiency in prototyping and experimentation using Cursor, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Canva.
• A proven understanding of visual design, typography, and responsive, cross-platform development.
• Strong debugging skills and the ability to autonomously troubleshoot complex environments.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Design, Digital Media, or completion of a relevant coding bootcamp.

Compensation Range: USD $55,400.00 - USD $102,800.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
