Job summary

The Timberline Group is seeking a frontend software developer to support the daily operations of our call center and ensure the Guardian Angel suite remains healthy. You will work on maintenance and contribute to new development expanding the scope and behavior of the applications.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in CS or related field (or 4+ years equivalent) and 3+ years of professional development, with strong Angular, CSS3, and JSON skills, plus familiarity with KendoUI and Map Box.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or 4+ years of additional experience.
• 3+ years of relevant professional development experience.
• Proficiency in Angular 1.5.0 (2+ years) and Angular 2.0+ preferred.
• Experience developing front-end software with CSS3.
• Some design skills to create images, icons, banners, headers and screen layout.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the call center and daily health of the Guardian Angel applications.
• Perform routine maintenance and assist in new development for expanded scope and behavior.
• Prepare functional specs, design, code, test, debug, and document programs.
• Participate in technical design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of website enhancements.
• Conduct system tests, monitor results, and take corrective action.
• May prepare technical user guides.

Position Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred (or 4+ additional years work experience)

Experience

• 3+ years relevant professional development experience
• Must be proficient in Angular 1.5.0 with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Experience in developing front-end software with Angular 2.0+ experience preferred
• Experience in developing rich applications with CSS, must be able to work with CSS3 proficiently
• Some design skills necessary, ability to create images, icons, banners, headers and screen layout as needed

Knowledge

• KendoUI experience preferred
• Experience with encoding/decoding JSON objects/strings
• Familiar with consuming web services via Angular
• Intermediate level of experience with JavaScript as a whole
• Knowledge of Map Box preferred
