Job summary

Broulim's is seeking a Courtesy Clerk at our Ammon store to provide excellent customer service, assist customers with bagging groceries, and help maintain a clean, welcoming shopping environment. You will collect carts, stock shelves, and support store operations while offering friendly, reliable service.

The position requires a positive attitude, ability to stand for long periods, and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and push/pull heavy carts.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to assist others.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly smile and offer assistance as needed.
• Bag groceries for customers and ensure items are packed carefully.
• Assist customers by taking groceries out to their car.

• Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, surfaces and bathrooms.
• Stock shelves and replenish inventory as needed.

Job Summary: As a Courtesy Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Your role involves assisting customers with bagging groceries, retrieving carts, and maintaining cleanliness in the store. Examples of Duties:

Greet customers with a friendly smile and offer assistance as needed.

Bag groceries for customers, ensuring items are packed carefully and efficiently.

Assist customers by taking their groceries out to their car.

Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to the store.

Assist customers with locating products and answering inquiries about store services.

Maintain cleanliness in the store, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and emptying trash bins and cleaning bathrooms .

Assist with stocking shelves and replenishing inventory as needed.

Assist in maintaining order and safety in the store, including monitoring for spills and hazards.

Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to customer service and safety.

Perform any other duties as designated by your department manager.

Knowledge:

Basic knowledge of grocery store layout and product locations.

Familiarity with customer service principles and practices.

Understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
