Job summary

North State Grocery, Inc. is seeking a friendly, customer-focused cashier to join our team. You will greet customers, ring up purchases, bag items, and assist with stocking and merchandising as needed.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 45 pounds, and rotate merchandise to keep products fresh. Safety procedures and store policies must be followed at all times.

Responsibilities

Provide World Famous Friendly Customer Service to Customers, Team Members & Outside Vendors. Cashier, Bagging, Cleaning, Merchandising, Stocking, Rotating Product, Facing.

Essential Job Functions:

• World Famous Friendly customer service with customers and teammates.
• Work as part of a team atmosphere.
• Cashier responsibilities, smile, greet, count back change accurately.
• Bag groceries accordingly. (like items together)
• Carry out groceries to customers vehicles.
• Keep perishable merchandise rotated & pull out of date product as needed.
• Greet customers who come into the store and be observant.
• Maintain a neat appearance according to the companys dress code policy.
• Keep store shelves fully stocked according to information provided.
• Assist in building store displays.
• Observe policies and procedures established for each department.
• Keep work area, check stand, front end clean.
