Job summary

Fiesta Mart Arlington is hiring a friendly Checker to join our fast-paced grocery team. Under direct supervision, you’ll provide outstanding customer service, process sales quickly, and operate the cash register accurately while protecting store assets.

This role involves lifting and standing for long periods and working with diverse customers in a community-focused environment. We value bilingual skills (Spanish/English), basic PC proficiency, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with the public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and colleagues.
• Regularly lift and move up to 60 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service per store standards.
• Process sales quickly, accurately, and securely at the cash register.
• Safeguard company assets and maintain checkout area.
• Assist in maintaining store cleanliness and product presentation.
