Job summary

Ace Retail Group’s Westlake Ace Hardware division is seeking a friendly Cashier to handle register transactions, returns and basic customer service in a busy store environment.

The role requires greeting customers, helping locate products, and keeping the front end neat. Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred; physical tasks include standing and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Cashier experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering and throughout the store.
• Project a positive representation of Westlake Ace Hardware.
• Balance the cash drawer and follow register procedures.
• Assist with pricing, stocking, marking and bagging merchandise.
• Communicate any issues requiring management attention.
• Maintain front-end appearance and keep carts and flyers stocked.
