Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking a friendly Cashier to handle register transactions and assist customers in our store. You will greet shoppers, process sales and returns, and help maintain a positive front-end experience.

The role includes balancing the register, following procedures, stocking supplies, and aiding customers with product location. Prior cashier or customer service experience is preferred, with the ability to stand and lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Cashier experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering and throughout the store.
• Thank customers by name, when possible, when they are leaving the store.
• Project a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
• Clear customer checkout lines quickly and efficiently.
• Answer and monitor all calls and pages promptly, courteously and effectively.
• Communicate any problem or issue that requires management assistance.
• Continually build product knowledge base and assist customers with store layout and product location.
• Assist in pricing, stocking, marking and bagging of merchandise.
